I had a small batch of wood arrive from getting stabilized at K&G today.
You never know for sure what it will be like until after you get it cleaned up.
I will try to have them in the webstore by this weekend.

Wouldn't it be more efficient if K&G just moved in with you, Mark? You seem to be their main customer anyway ;) Some nice looking pieces there.

I tried to make a short video but for some reason it turned out worse than normal.

They always do a great job on the wood and they put up with me as well.
What else could I ask for?

Ya seen one hunk of wood, ya seen em..........

Looking good! Some walnuts are plain, some are so dark the figure doesn't really pop, but these look nice!!

Very nice stuff....And i thought my wallet would be safe fr a few days....

Are all of them walnut?
It is all Claro Walnut. These blocks were all cut from the same piece of the stump burl.
You get lots of variations depending on where and how each piece is cut.

I hope nobody actually took me serious before when I said this was ugly stuff.
This is some of the very best in Walnut Burl.

This photo shows the best of the best pieces (my opinion)
They are in the store now.
Most are in the Stabilized Walnut Blocks section.
My Favorites are in the High End Collector Grade section.

Just kidding. Still holding out for your bog oak, but this is very tempting.
