My wife and I have been doing some imagery/icon projects, she is an equine photographer and I do some wood stuff. When she saw the Takeda gyuto she thought icon frame, and this is what we came up with. She is supposed to do some paintwork on it at some point, butt here it is as of now, on the kitchen wall.

Now that's the best place I've seen for a Takeda:lol2:

It is held in place by magnets so it does get used everyday. What, you don't like Takedas???
:Ooooh:

I don't like the maker or his knives, and yes I've meet him twice. He was a jackass both times.I've been to a "few" knifeshows and EVERY vendor I talked to could have not been any nicer or more helpful except him.

Yikes!
Either way, that looks pretty sweet, like that!
Looks like your wife is very understanding about your addiction ;)

Well there you go! I like this knife, and have no knowledge of the man, so I don't have to think about anything but cutting things up!
To bad about his personal demeanor. Being a dick helps no one.

No, Lefty, she is not. She did like this this idea, tho.

Hahaha!
I think I get ya!
My wife spoils me with gyutos and boards as presents, but tells me I don't need anymore and she can't understand why I always want a new "something".
I think it's just a loving way of reminding me we have a mortgage to pay. Haha
