Is that a hollow on the back or just flat? Either way that is a stunner, and you are doing some tough work some justice. How does it cut?

Yep The back is ground on a 48" wheel. Cuts like a razor!

Whats the length on the single bevel? Man I tell you what, if the performance matches that of the renown Japanese work, you may be well on your way to being known as the king of east meets west, function meets symmetry and beauty , spiritual joins physical. I have a hard time drawing up in theory some of the art you guys are making Randy.

Finished up the bowie for a client tonight. I couldn't get any GOOD photos but did manage to get a few that I am not to ashamed to share. Beings this one is leaving to be overnight'ed tomorrow I may not get any better ones. and that's sorta a heart breaker . Because this think is stunning!

I really need to make a light box for taking pictures. would solve the problem I often have trying to get constant photos.

    Specs.
    OAL: 12 3/4"
Steel: O-1 core with 400 layer random pattern cladding.
Blade: 6.5: tip to plunge line.
Handle: Mosaic damascus guard and butt cap with Stainless spacers and mammoth ivory handles.

    Merry Christmas
    Randy

Here are a few more images of this one. I only had a few hours from completion to shipping so it would arrive on time for Christmas. Sorry these are not the greatest photos BUT as soon as the sheath is completed its gona be sent to COOP for pro photos. I know he will capture it in all its glory!

Thanks for looking and Mingooch. I could see a knife like this being used in a movie!!! That would be COOL
