Whats on the bench.

Mosaic Damascus. Explosion pattern. Gyuto. Profile is loosely based off of of a DT gyuto I had opportunity to handle a few months back.

Handle is cross cut Ironwood burl. Beautiful stuff. I added a Mokume 3 color nickel brass and copper front cap.

Thinking its gona be a awesome cutter!!!!

Finally finished this BEAST chopper.
Predator pattern and stabilized ash burl. over 12" blade

Also did a retro wa handle gyuto. Stabilized buckeye burl and amboina burl combination.
Spirograph pattern carbon damascus 240 blade.

Thank ya guys for the nice comments. These images dont begin to really show the beauty and figure of the woods. My Canon camera finally stopped working. So these were taken with a old smart phone. And well. Like any camera. There is a learning curve. I hope to be able to replace my Canon soon. Although the cell is fast and easy. The image quality and the ability to capture the colors and such are so much better on the EOS cameras

Anyways.
