From my perspective, it was Prof Devin showing a couple of noobs how it's done. I learned quite a bit. For example, I learned that I really need sell my car and get a TW90, lol. The knife stuff was lots of fun...so many cool toys to play with! It was also neat to see Devin's work, past (including some swords) and present (composite damascus), in various states of completion. I have to say the highlight of the visit was meeting the clan and storytelling (Devin is quite the storyteller.). I think we met everyone except his knifemaking daughter (kuh-list-uh). Thank you, Devin and Jackie and thanks also to John. He put in a lot of hours with us, as well, including starting at 7 am on Saturday.
I have a question......What is the hardest thing about making a knife![]()
people watching over your shoulder? Selling the knife? Inquiring minds want to know.!
