Does anyone recognize this MAC knife and can tell me about it?
I got this knife from my grandparents (RIP), and am wondering if it is worth getting rehandled. It is a MAC knife, made in Japan but with no other information. From googling around, I think it is the top one here: http://www.petpeoplesplace.com/petst...895454836.html

Odd indent in the choil area.
In any case, are MAC knives of this era as well regarded as they are now? What kind of steel might this be?
Could be a prize or a dud.....
Had a small chef's like that myself. Molyb stainless. I remembered that I liked to hang it up at the end of my shift. I don't think its really that collectable other than for sentimental value.
