    Hunting Trousse Knives

    Hunting Trousse is a set of knives taken on the hunt to dispatch the animal sometimes with a small knife and fork to eat game on the hunt. some are complete sets to break down the meat . these are from 1500-1800

    here is the one i like. it does look like a surgeon's kit but the museum said Trousse.
