    Stainless 240 Gyuto

Heres on I just finished up for my brother from another mother, Dave!

Its a ATS34 stainless steel 240mm Chefs knife RC 60/61
Red wood burl handles. Brass pins and a single mosaic with brass copper and stainless combination!

    Enough talk heres the goods!

    The money shot!

The Handle!! Beautiful material, I have never used this wood, The seller calls it red logwood. Its from South america and is very dense and naturally oily like cocobolo or ironwood. So it should be a perfect handle for a kitchen knife!

Spine shot and choil shot. Full blended grinds with rounded spine and choil.

And the rest of the images! This is a 9 1/2 inch blade

Im not use to taking pictures of SHINNY stuff. But these show off the handle and blade pretty good! I hope he likes it!

Thanks for looking, as always, comments and critiques welcomed!

What's your process for hitting 60-61 with ATS-34? In my experience, 61c is hard to hold without the blade being chippy.

It sure is nice looking. I like the handle in particular.

Tom thanks for the link to the logwood. Google is a great resource for stuff like this.
