Hi guys,
I've been looking on here for a few months now and starting to find my feet. I have been a chef for 10 years and have owned my own restaurant for the last 10 months, since I started cooking I've been interested in knives and getting them sharp, but funnily enough it has taken me this long to find a place like this with people who share that interest. It has always amazed me how few chefs ( at least in Australia) know how to sharpen a knife properly or even what a sharp knife is!

I look forward to joining in on the discussions in the future

Welcome Mate! Congratulations on having your own place too. If you hang out here too long though, you're going to start defaulting on your bills!!!
