I think I ate breakfast a couple of times in that "cook shop." Somethings haven't changed much over there since those photos were taken. I didn't find much in the way of knife shops out in the country but the public markets always had guys with large spreads of locally made cleavers and agricultural choppers of one kind or another .
 
The banners had a bunch of interesting knife shapes. It's amazing how you find all these pictures.

That's the thing about most of the old photos the little detail things you can find.
