    the new guy

Hello to all. I am a cook in south ga we are a little behind the times here. I was looking to up grade from wustoff. I am or was looking at Bob Kramer at sur la table until today I really did not realize there was much more for me to chose from. I really like the look of the Kramer handle but is there a better knife for under 500.00. Thanks so much Justin. I just don't have any local options.

Welcome, hang out here for a few, ask some good questions, and I'm sure you'll be able to find your ideal knife. There's a ton of super-smart folks around here.

Any suggestion. I would love some direction before I start purchasing some thing I have never seen in person. I am a bad impulse buyer.

    Yip.

Then post your wants/needs (the more specific, the better) in The Kitchen Knife subforum.
