    First time for tip repair

Dropped my knife in the sink today--it came back out without a tip. Made me plenty cranky, but it wasn't as bad as expected to fix. Not perfect, but at least it's pointy again.

Very nice Lucretia! I've been putting off fixing a broken tip myself and seeing this makes me want to go fix mine.

    Well done!

from the pictures.. I just realized that the Kasumi patters are not mirrored or identical on the other side of the knife. All along I assumed that they are.

Great job. It's such a feeling of accomplishment to fix a broken tip.
"See... the problem here is that... my little brother, this morning, got his arm caught in the microwave, and uh... my grandmother dropped acid and she freaked out, and hijacked a school bus full of... penguins, so it's kind of a family crisis... so come back later? Great."
