I just got home with a Blendtec w wildside jar from my local Costco for $329.
I've been up in the air between the brands for a couple years, just kicking the can down the road, but today the price was too good. They also had a Vitamix 6300 for $500.
Anyhow, this purchase was spurred by a need to lose 13 lbs and be a bit more healthy overall. I often tend to only eat a yogurt or granola bar for breakfast and then dinner, and this is not good for your body.
So... I am going to start doing some kind of whole fruit/vegetable smoothie type thing for lunches.
My question to you all, or those who do this sort of thing: what is your favorite recipe(s), and what type of supplements do you swear by (if any)? One of my buddies says hemp protein powder is they way to go, I had never heard of it.
