Murray Carter posted a new vid describing the different lines and shapes of knives he makes (in case you haven't seen it on YouTube yet).

Answers many questions that have been asked, but may not been answered. Of note, he does not forge weld his stainless steel + carbon core knives - he forges them to shape, HT, etc, he just does not forge weld the steel. He only forge welds the mild steel + carbon core kuro-uchi knives.
