Holidays/tax return time are coming up, and I have been wanting to get a suji for a while now. Without doing too much research, I've been able to gather that the Konosuke HD 270 is a big favorite. I'm wondering how the new HH series stands up to it. Also interested in any suggestions as far as alternatives go.

-looking at 270mm (300 will likely just be too big)
-under $300
-I'll be using it in a pro kitchen so stainless or semi is probably my best bet, but I have been using iron-clad carbon at work for the past year, so any good carbons will be considered as well.
-preferably wa-handled (I've really only used octagonal, but I'm a righty so it's not too important)

Thanks, in advance, for the feedback

I love my 270 HD suji...it would be the last of my knives to ever be sold off.

Agree with Cadillac J..I have the 300mm HD suji.Beautiful knife.Light and nimble(137 grms),300 might be too big for line work.
