The thickness of the heel of 2.5mm, more distal taper.
I used a knife about 6 months (actually several times)
The knife looks better than on the photo.

Looks nice. If only I didnt pay my rent today, lol. How's the retention?

single-bevel or double-bevel or asymmetric bevel ??

Yeah, I'm curious about the bevel too. If it's 50/50, I might bite.

it looks double-bevelled. if it were single, i might be interested.

ha ha!:laugh:I'm interesting if it were 90/10 asymmetric-bevel.

You know what, I agree. If it were left-handed. Oh well. It looks really cool, though.

it's 50/50,
retention is very good.
This is a very clean high quality tool steel.
I had Honesuki from Misono Swedish carbon steel (which has served as a prototype for the manufacture of the knife)
retention on this knife is much better than Misono.
Steel feels like a blue steel

is it rounded choil and spine??

Hi Vladimir,

I have just bought a true single bevel Honesuki from Maxim, so am not interested in a trade. But I do have a mizuno white #2 180mm yanagiba for sale here.
