That needs a good handle upgrade.

The knife is an Artisan with the standard handle it came with. After seeing the handles on the knives this past weekend at the DC show, I have decided to have it rehandled. If anyone out there in knife world has a suggestion and pricing, let's talk. I'm interested!

I really like the knife. It cuts well, I like the balance and it is easy to care for. I want something maybe a little different but stylish while maintaining the same balance and ease of care.
 
Actually what I was looking for was someone to help design a nice handle, help choose the appropriate wood and do the work.
 
I stand by my Rec. Or Adam Marr....
 
If it were me I would keep the same style handle just use a bit fancier wood like this.

Forum member Kalaeb re-handled a similar knife for me and I was very happy with his work.
The scales in the photo are dyed and stabilized sycamore that are sitting on my desk homeless.
