This is a 140mm Zakuri ikasaki style knife in Blue#1 steel. It has more blade height than a normal petty and the handle is larger, closer to a gyuto so it's easy to grip. When using, the knife seems a bigger than the size indicates. Thin but sturdy and not bendy. This knife is a great performer, and just very easy to use. The reason I am selling is because I am thinking of getting a bigger one (more like a nifty santoku).
