    I Have a Knife.....

That needs a good handle upgrade.

The knife is an Artisan with the standard handle it came with. After seeing the handles on the knives this past weekend at the DC show, I have decided to have it rehandled. If anyone out there in knife world has a suggestion and pricing, let's talk. I'm interested!

I really like the knife. It cuts well, I like the balance and it is easy to care for. I want something maybe a little different but stylish while maintaining the same balance and ease of care.

David, are you looking for ideas for the handle materials, combos, etc., or just referrals for the work?

Actually what I was looking for was someone to help design a nice handle, help choose the appropriate wood and do the work.

If it were me I would keep the same style handle just use a bit fancier wood like this.

Forum member Kalaeb re-handled a similar knife for me and I was very happy with his work.
The scales in the photo are dyed and stabilized sycamore that are sitting on my desk homeless.
