About 100 lbs of wood came back from getting stabilized today.

It's all Red or Black.

Mike9, I will probably add some to the store tomorrow.

Pesky, I know what you want so I will keep my eyes open.
 
I am happy with how the blocks are looking so far.

These are some of the Maple burl dyed black.
They are all the same type of wood and dyed in the same batch,
but they all look different from each other.

Next are some of the Redwood Burl.
This was second growth burl growing on an old growth stump.
Around the late 1800s a lot of the ancient redwoods were logged in Northern California.
On some of the undeveloped land there are still giant stumps standing.
This Redwood came from live burl that was growing on one of those old stumps.
Lots more metallic flash or chatoyance than I normally see with Redwood burl.

:drool: those dyed blocks are sweet. Now I must resist.
