Mike, if you are talking about the gyuto I can't really say because I don't take customer knives for a spin... don't want to expose the knife for more potential danger after it has left my shop(dropping, dings in the edge etc).

    Thanks Matt!

Due to the board of the housing cooperative being 100% jackasses(maybe more like fucktards and dimwits) I need to find another shop, they think it's better to have 25m2 of space not to be used by ANYONE instead of me offering to rent the space.

So I will be inactive for a little while until I find something new...

While waiting for the hobbyist status to return(god damn it paypal) the shop(not 100% resolved, feels like limbo) gave birth to twins... twice!

Zensho/Yoshikane Cleaver 215mm, cocobolo and some unknown wood in the middle.
These did not play well with the camera, need to build a little light tent so I can get better light.

Keiryu Kiridashi, walnut and 3.2mm brass pins.

Thanks for all the great word, it's really great to hear that my work motivates people to post!

News about my shop situation: I have talked to a housing cooperative board member with the same "level"(as the "C*nt" who gives me a hard time) in importance about this and he said it was 100% crazy that I can't use the space, but she lied about me(yes, is look like a criminal in some peoples eyes[no hair, tattoo and a beard]), made up scenarios that are not even possible and for some reason alot of people just gave her the on/off swith decision.

My better half vent balistic and confronted her when I was at work, now we are moving the shop to the inlaws garage a few months... then we'll se how this turns out.

I don't really know it this made so much sense and all... but I need to dump this somewere and here feels most relevant.

The fun thing is that the one who has a hobby can't use the space that's made for people with a hobby.

But soon i'm back on track, this fuels me in a strange way...

    Have a great day. /Dan
