How to sell the ones you love

I have to many Gyutos and I know it. I'm actually kind of proud but I thinks it's time to move on. My problem is I need a honesuki, deba and others but just keep buying Gyutos. My least used is probably the Takeda so I used it for the day and loved it so now I don't want to sell it. I want to sell one, so I use it one last time then I don't want to sell it anymore. How do you sell off a knife and have no emotional attachment?

I know that someone can use at least one more than I will. And this coming year I want to buy a masamoto ks I'm getting a gyuto from gareth bull and Mario that's three more right off the bat. This might turn into a sales thread.

A lot of us seems to hoard, and then purge. I think at some point your bubble bursts and you just make the plunge.
    May i suggest:

Sell off several at once, then regret it, then move on.

    Like ripping off a bandage.

The more you sell, the more you can buy!
Today is as good a day to die as any. Except for tomorrow. I have plans tomorrow.

Find two or more that have the same characteristics; height, profile, length, weight then determine which of those you like least and put it up for sale. Or give it to some one as a gift, this way you can tell yourself you did a good thing and deserve another knife.
