Both from forum members the takeda rehandled black wood with black horn and silver spacer from mike asking 300 what I paid and mizuno with saya asking 200 what I paid. I'm selling these hesitantly but my new fowler is stuck in my hand and I can't put it down. image.jpgimage.jpg

The mizuno was paid for and shipped within 45 min of this post.

Oooo... a new number to compete on now :)

If it doesn't sell soon it will make the decision easy for me to keep it. I only wanted to sell the mizuno but I'll leave it another day.

That looks like an older Mizuno. I'd a snapped that up in a heart beat given the chance.

Is it just me, or is the profile on that Takeda even flatter than usual? And I'm by no means trying to derail this btw, looks like a great cutter... I'm actually rather unhappy that I can't afford it due to outstanding knife debts/new car...

Single bevel or petty mixed with stones. I need a lot so mix and match. I don't know I'd like a hankotsu added in. I'm open to suggestions. Of even a 270 if its too long for someone. I just have to many 240

ah, single bevels aren't the things i can really spare. don't need another Takeda, either.

Makes what I did for soup yesterday look small. Really really really small.

i would love to be the one doing all the prep for that =D

Im sorry man. I really want the Takeda, but I lost waaaay too much money a couple nights ago at the casino, I don't even wanna start getting into what kind of troubles thats bringing on right now.

Very interested in this knife, Is there any way to contact you and are you will to ship to Australia?

Thanks

The Mizuno was mine originally. I bought it new and it was one of the "newer" ones with that weird shinogi line... I found it was cosmetic and that's how it disappeared after use. That was a great, great knife...

The takeda is sold locally. To my sous chef so I can buy it back eventually I'm sure
