I use some stones every day,
and I lappipng/correct them often with diamond plate - atoma140 and another slow NN dplate #600.

so, its enough to Aoto and Softhakka (prepolisher).
or for better results need something like naguras ?

and to take better finishing of edge desirable to use naguras for last JN stones ? :scratchhead:

what is your range for alignment on your sharpeningtable? :)

Naguras for knives is only to help building up the mud. I think that Aoto and Hakka you can do it on your own no Nagura necessary.
I do not lap stones every day even if i am sharpening every day. Ones a week with everyday sharpening is enough if you use your high spots on the stone.
If not just lap it when necessary not just as routine. Wash a way a lot of good stone in the sing is kind of waist to me specially for Jnats that is kind of expensive :)
