2 blanks on top
3 blades on right profiled and heat treated
1 blank on bottom right profiled
4 on left profiled heat treated and bevels ground in.
more damascus to make and then work on finishing all of these. :viking:

Thanks guys, the plan is to have all of them done for the ECG.
 
I decided to try a nakiri as well, its just profiled right now. I had some time early while the forge was heating up. :viking:

I got those pettys ground and heat treated since that pic, and 5 more in the works. How do you like the profiles?

A few finished Gyutos and some pettys I'm working on :viking:

The pettys look handy.

Now the gyutos are excellent! I really like your newer handle profile. The steel looks good on all of them, but that top one is BOLD! You know that I normally like tighter patterns with higher layer counts, but this one is just bold enough to get my attention without going over the top.

When are you going to get a professional photo? These are certainly worth the expense. Set one on a BoardSmith butcher block. That'd be cool!
