As I am getting better at sharpening I have noticed that I have no mud anymore on stones I used to not see the stone anymore, and have to clean off the mud. I am wanting to try to do some stone polishing and am curious if there is something written here, or a vid. that can be of help. I don't have any j-nats (yet), is it even worth trying with non natural stones?

thx in advance for any way to show me the light.
Fumbling and confused.

I know that 800 king can give a natural - like finish on kasumi traditional blades.
Basically you start with some pressure to raise slurry then eae on the pressure and work the slurry to achieve even finish on the knife.
