Remember the Seinfeld episode where the woman he was dating looked good in good light and rough in bad light? This knife is definitely not like that. Looks great in bad light and probably better in good light :)

Thanx..........I am not a practitioner.The symbol does have some relevance to food,that is one of the reasons I chose it.

The wood is Red Mallee and dyed red wood.
 
I like the slightly rounded heel. Looks good Mario.
 
Nice! That red Malee is some weird stuff. There is always at least one little section of any block that looks like something out of an H.R. Giger print.
 
Beautiful handle, but I think your blade profiles are excellent as well. Love to see some pics that include geometry and detail work on blade.
