Hi there

I live in Australia and recently bought this:

http://www.everten.com.au/-Zwilling-Henckel-Professional-2pc-Set.html for $148

Went to target today (big department store to see this:

http://shop.target.com.au/p/j-a-henckels-chef-s-knife/P51754877

It said on the knife 'ZWILLING J.A. HENCKEL - SPAIN'

I thought Henckels were German?

I'm wondering though if these international knives are as good quality as the one i got from everten?

Or have i been ripped off with everten and had been better off with the target one?

Thanks.

Mart.

Henckles has a ton of different knife lines. The cheapest are manufactured in China. The next level up are their "international" knives, manufactured in Spain. Those lines with the Zwilling name and twins logo (as opposed to the single guy logo on the cheaper lines) are manufactured in Germany. Cermax were and Miyabi are made in Japan.

If you got Zwilling 4-stars then they're definitely better than the henckels International.

Hi there

That was very helpful indeed.

Its answered my question.

Yes the set i have are in fact professional S which come with the scissors.

they are of 2 men and are made in Germany.

Glad ive got those then and glad to have asked.

Happy new year.

Mart.
