They closed down Plumeria restaurant for 180 of us. It was so good to see folks that I worked with at Kahala through the decades. We were like family. Swiss Chef Martin Wyss was there with wife Jennie. They are in 80's now. Martin hired me at Kahala in 1982 because needed an ice carver. He retired from Kahala & had own restaurant The Swiss Inn very successful with Kahala folks working second job for him. His wife was the hostess. His daughter owns the Swiss Hibiscus in Portland Oregan. He was the best Chef Kahala ever had.
