Agree that the sk steel on these is a real winner. For the price you can't go wrong.

That looks like pretty normal microchipping to me. If you are using it on a metal surface, then I would say this TF is holding up exceptionally (considering the thin grind and brittle steel). I know plenty of chefs who are happy with soft stainless like misono 440 or macs.
