I bought one of the boards in maple with the walnut border, man are these nice in person. Got here last night, can't wait to start using it.

I found it an enjoyable read even having never made a knife. Interesting to see how things are done and what goes into the process. It certainly stoked my interest in trying it at some point.

My vote is for #5, but you really can't lose with those choices. 1 is fascinating.

I just want to wish Bill good luck, I hope things get better quickly. I've been in a similar situation and hope things come out OK.

Hi there, new guy from Seattle here. I've been lurking a bit and decided to join. This stuff is pretty new to me but very interesting and I've learned quite a bit already. I can tell this isn't going to do my wallet any favors ;)
