I agree...I kinda giggled when I unboxed it and put in my hand,which is much bigger than the knife...I am going to Mexico in Feb and it will be a good Edc for vacation.

I got some Cl2 on mine and it was only on it for a day ...It pitted pretty deep!!!!...So my Para like yours doesn't go to work with me anymore.

If it was a flat ground blade I would say yes,but I can't see beating on a hollow ground blade.

It is a Chris Reeve...It's a "after work" EDC..A little pricey to be beating on it at work.

If you plan on chopping wood than yes it would be catastrophic....If you plan on cutting fish I don't see an issue.
