    Try OMNI-PORK if you're vegetarian. It's like Impossible Meat. I do a Mapo Tofu with just tofu and veggies sometimes, when I can't afford meat for that week.

    I'd like to chat or rather ask how I can go about learning how to make sausages, and, resources to read etc. I think this is a great skill, and, one I'd like to develop, especially since my job is coming to and end and this could be a way to make ends meet (or literally, put food on the table)...

    I'm in Singapore. No hunting allowed, no sale of wild boar meat either. Although there are around 250 of these wild boar (sus scrofa) roaming the local forests. They have no predators and are breeding like....well, pigs. Local authorities do not permit the consumption of meat of boar culled...

    any reason for the failure of snakewood Dave? it's a dense oily wood, correct? and not usually stabilized? does it feel smooth to touch or "grainy"?
