WTB 210 Wa Gyuto ~$125 or less for employee gifts (Maryland)

Thanks for the Tojiro suggestion! I am still in the area but I defected to MD. I've been happy with my knives so I have not been active much but I do love to peruse the BST page periodically. If there is another meetup now that we're past 2020, I'd be up for it!

WTB 210 Wa Gyuto ~$125 or less for employee gifts (Maryland)

Not a bad option, thank you! I'll probably give it a couple of days to see if anyone has anything else, but that's a solid backstop.

WTB 210 Wa Gyuto ~$125 or less for employee gifts (Maryland)

Looking for 2 gifts for employees. ~210 Wa Gyuto in "presentable as a gift" condition. I'd like to keep it below $125 each. The main goal is a high performance blade, so open to carbon or stainless and definitely prefer a wa handle and flexible on most aspects. For reference, I was looking...

    Media YouTube Knuckleheads

Gotta be a gag. Aside from the fact that its absurd and gross, the way they splashed it in the latte at the end, def a joke!

    Fogo charcoal?

Has anyone used Jealous Devil? I was looking around at options and Naked Whiz has great reviews and the price is comparable to the fogo. One thing that was a little concerning (not sure if it should be though) is the fungicide mentioned in this paragraph: "Quebracho blanco wood is uniformly...

Tell Us How You Really Feel: Durian

I made the mistake of eating a dim sum dessert that was similar to a cannoli with greenish filling. It took a few hours to get that awful, awful, AWFUL taste out of my mouth. I'll eat pretty much anything, but durian is one of the few exceptions. I was eating pho at a Vietnamese shopping...

    Carter cutlery opinions

I've got 2 carters, and they both are amazing cutters. His profiles are kind of all over the place, but once you find something that fits what you're looking for, I'd go for it.

The Knife that impress non-knife/kitchen people

I picked up an 8" miyabi gyuto on BST a while back for a really good price, so that is my 'guest knife'. I'll let people use others if they want, but the Miyabi is typically worlds sharper than anything they have anyway, so that usually does the job.

    Uchigumori for free!

Is this the right kind of paper to use for a backing? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00552JBQW/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20 I don't need much, so I'm trying to find the cheapest option for a small quantity.

    Kettle Grill Vs. Barrel Grill

Kamado Joe for the win. I have a Jr and a classic. I wish my classic was the Big Joe size tho instead.

    Kramer Picnic Knife 2.0

Just a clarification for jljohn... I never said I was changing anything, just that I'd love to get 900+ for it. I do want feedback on the price though, because if it is way off then I can adjust to keep things fair for all. Next time, try to structure your commentary in a constructive way...
