I was first introduced to making knives when I was 12 years old. A neighbor spent sunday evenings teaching me how to make my first knife. I made and sold several knives throughout my teenage years and picked up the hobby again in 2012. This is about the time I started cooking for my family in earnest so kitchen knives were a logical area to focus on.
