Step one ๐Ÿ˜„ Step two, I have to find a way to get exact slots for the tang too. I have an idea for that, some kind of frame build ๐Ÿค” maybe on the next-next one I'll try it.

    Knives....and WIP's...

Yeah that's one of the things ๐Ÿ‘ Yes of course ๐Ÿ‘Œ it helps a lot ๐Ÿ™ it's difficult to try new things without making mistakes ๐Ÿ˜„ I definitely have to rethink my process of making my handles! it has too much potential for error... Two of three done. I really like the small chef with the olive handle! Feels pretty comfortable imho On this Gyuto I made some changes on the handle profile because I wanted to know how it looks with a more traditional oktagonal style. IDK... It's okay but I don't feel it.....it feels great...

Thank you ๐Ÿ‘‹ The top left one is a frame handle out out black G10. The others are stabilized hornbeam (that's what you mean?). I grind the material out with a radius and draw the radius on to the scales. I grinder them too and glue everything together. Fabian โœŒ๏ธ

Doesn't look like much, but I spend a few hours on the handles... ๐Ÿ˜ด The little details are pretty time consuming. On Monday I'll finish them and hopefully glue all up so I can finish em all till Wednesday (maybe) ๐Ÿคž Fabian โœŒ๏ธ

Made some progress today on the blades and started with the handle for one of the customs. It's going to be a frame handle out of G10 and Olive.

Made some progress on the next batch of two customs and another Gyuto. All out of SB1+. I set the primary bevels on my 1000 DMD clone down to zero. Next step is blending everything together, again... And then rounding the choil and spine and so on...

I thinned out the handle-butt-area on the first one because it felt a bit uncomfy. Now it's fine imho. Lost 2g of weight ๐Ÿฅธ
