How do you pinch grip your knife?

I tickle it under the chin until it grunts pleasure. Then, when it is completely relaxed, I quickly and firmly grasp it from behind, my grip just ahead of the collar. If I get it right, it stops fighting at once. Keeping the dart rifle handy helps me do it with confidence.

Knives you bought twice (or more)

In that case, my Dois. Bought a Doi blue2/iron 210 retail, then was able to add a 240. Very different knives; same outstanding blue 2 treatment. Added a Doi Homura suji to the mix. Big price difference but not much different in execution.

    Hello from Columbia, Maryland!

I’m taller. After learning the ropes on a 650 Maxim I migrated to FX-frame Harleys. Big comfy ergonomics combined with my sedate riding style… match made in heaven. I’m too old to safely operate one any more, but I’d love to try a BMW twin.
