Extremely long saya on the Ashi.

It would be a good idea to sharpen the Shihan since I last touched it up before I sent it out. If @OyakoDont feels comfortable with doing it go ahead and sharpening it. So, you get a good idea of the blade that sharp rather than dull.

Only took 4 months for DHL to get to me this Ashi is a beast. The blade is probably the finest of all Japanese blade smithing I have ever seen. Went to go see Mahler Symphony no. 2 Resurrection in C minor directed by Jaap Van Zweden at his last concert as music director of the New York Philharmonic over the weekend. All I can say was his rendition of Symphony no. 2 was supremely spectacular and awe-inspiring.
