I’d imagine people would go banana over this if it was a TF
I have a white 2 one at probably 47mm. I don’t mind it at all. More nimble then my other taller gyutos.
can confirm. I have a 240 x 68 with a low tip, which essentially makes it an oversized santoku
I’ve seenn a single bevel kitaeji western shig gyuto and I think it was a 300mm.
Very powerful set!
It’s still here wow. It used to get sniped at 1.4/1.5k. Whoever is looking to get one, this is a very good price.
As long he didn't ask the master for the hand engraving kanji :P
Yep, thus the patina. I just got the full size cleaver last week so it has only been through one meal.
Ricky got all b stock :p
TF red handle family:
Nice snake knife :p
It's very strange that the stamp says zenko (monosteel).
K&S is Shigeki Tanaka. JNS is Yoshikazu Tanaka (blacksmith for konosuke fujiyama). They are different smiths.
it says zenko on the stamp
it’s also monosteel, which is interesting.
A Jiro and a kikuchiyo gyuto
That makes 3 of us. I bought mine from pro tooling as well. Great guys. I have purchased more after such great customer service :)
The 240 stainless hisamoto was originally priced at $300 a pop. It was a steal.
