I just realised that my first Boardsmith board arrived to me over ten years ago. 12th of August 2008 to be precise. This 16x22 mahogany behemoth have served me well ever since. That's quality!

    Board warping

My old trusted 16"x22" mahogany board seems too have been warped after a transport from A to B during this cold winter. Could I hope for a recovery after a couple of weeks in stable temperature and humidity or should I add a washer or two under the rubber feet to keep it stable?

    Disc shaped stones

When I was looking around for stones I came across disc shaped Naniwas, around 9" in diameter and 1" thick (220x27mm). The store said that they were especially suited for longer knives. Have anyone used something like it?

Why is it named the Magnum 432?

The 18x24" board is named Magnum 432, I can understand the magnum part but why 432? The smaller 12x18" board contains 432 cubic inches of wood so it can't be something like that...

    Re-handle for beginners

After browsing through Dave's thread with re-handled westerns I felt a strong urge to do some work on a couple of my knives. My first question is if I can rehandle a knife, with decent results, without powertools? If I can do this are you aware of any good tutorial?
