I have a kanetsugu in pakkawood too. I use some board butter, the same ones used for end grain cutting boards. That should do the trick. If not available, try with a bit of mineral oil. Hope that helps Water and wood aren't friends.

573 Not really a le creuset but the same enamel like finish. I've tried the green scrubbie but it's very well bonded. I'll bit YouTube and see if I find some cleaning solution. Have a nice evening all

I have the same knife and came from new with the same issue. Take it to the stones and bring some fresh steel to the edge. Then you should be good to go.

I've been following this guy's youtube for a while and would love to try his outdoor preparations. I wonder how tall his knife is though
