what are you shooting? (handgun thread)

Agreed.. I've been shooting over 48 years in competition and other firearm use, teaching for over 30 myself, so I speak from first hand...not google... if you have a failure in a part dry firing then it was a faulty part from the beginning... I take no offense as I don't know you. As for the...

what are you shooting? (handgun thread)

The dry fire mythology is from old large caliber rimfire guns. The hammer/firing pin would, with dry firing, impact the actual chamber. This would eventually lead to a case failure and a bad day.. there isn't a firearm made in the last several decades that have any issues with dry firing...

Early pandemic freak out. I bought jarred tomato pasta sauce.

Butter saute, garlic, rosemary, thyme, good balsamic, add 1- 2 cup red wine.....good wine... and refuse volume by half on low heat. Stir into sauce.. assuming approximately 12 to 16 oz of sauce. Add protein of choice. Just what I might do. Could char fresh rosemary for a different taste profile.

    Audiophile journey

I have spent a little money on Yamaha. And I would consider it reference material. I would say that reasonable recording of reasonable music on reasonable equipment is my enjoyment. I will admit to have broken dishes that shook off of counters and pictures having been vibrated off the wall. So...
