    District Cutlery Thinning and Sharpening

    I just received back from District Cutlery a Yaxell Super Gou that I send to them for thinning and sharpening. They did an exceptional job and returned the knife promptly. It is now what it should have been when I bought it.....sharp enough to shave with.

    Toothy edge on SG2 steel.

    Does anyone have difficulty getting a toothy edge on SG2 steel. My knives are sharp and cut really well; however, I can not get a toothy edge on them. I use a Suehiro Cerax 1000, and a Chosera 3000. I have also tried a Shapton Glass 3000 and got the same result.
