    Hi, I recently bought this 170 mm Deba on Ebay - for restauration (it's only the blade). It looked quite nice und seamed not so bad.... Tried to translate the kanji with Google myself but no success... Anyone who can help me ?

    Old Deba

    Recently bought this little Deba (12 cm) on Ebay for restauration. It seems that it once had a kuro surface but was polished sometimes in the past. Got it really sharp on a Takashima jnat and decided to keep it for use. Any idea where it is from and who made it ?

    Someone who can read these kanji ?

    From time to time I purchase old japanese knives from Ebay sellers, restore and resell them. It‘s mostly for practicing sharpening.... Recently I bought a 24 cm Yanagiba whith lots of kanji and now I‘m curious about what they mean. Can someone here read or translate them ? THX a lot !
