117 mm long edge
47mm tall
6mm thick
146 g
卍正忠
Tip was bent during straightening. Mostly straight slight bend near tip that is too troublesome to remove. HARDEST omg knife I've straigtened. So resistant to straighten. My wrist went a little numb trying to bend it. Felt like I might sprain it or something. Hardest deba and one of the hardest knives and steels I've worked with. Feels very close to tf white 1, except better edge taking. One of the best steels I've ever used, in edge taking, even compared to kamisori. I want to keep it and grind it into a kamisori... But that's sacrilege. Steel is glassy but refines readily and burr comes off so clean, it auto deburrs after 400 grit stone work. Imagine takagi blue, tf white, wat blue honyaki . . . That sort of edge feel in use and sharpening.
