Extra big nigiri basami (finger grip scissors)
150mm overall length
60mm tall
22mm high
A little temper softened by the maker at the tip from grinding. Has no stop forged in to stop the blades -- most nigiri basami have it but not this one. Kurouchi on the underside of the spring end. Nigiri basami are sharpened by opening up the spring, and then using flat pliers to close them tight again so that the heels of each blade touch. Much stiffer action compared to more common nigiri basami.
