Alright. Super busy day today. Going to take these measurements and finally relax.

Spine:
1.96 at the handle
1.15 halfway to the tip
.86 where the tip starts
.6 10mm before the tip

Balance point. Right where the blade and handle meet. If someone really wanted to move the balance poin forward a bit. I could grind the end of the handle off to make it a touch shorter, and that could shift the balance forward. Though i think it feels pretty nimble where the balance is now. Which i kinda think works for shorter blades like bunkas/nakiris/santokus.

New pics. I adjusted the profile a bit when i went to sharpen it. And wanted to start from the same thinness. Even though it would have been fine if i had just sharpened it as is. So i thinned it back again, and polished it up again. Tried to add a touch more convexity while i was at it. Just wanted to give updated pics.

Love it! GLWS, I definitely see your knives taking off soon, great finish and wonderful looking grind, and the steel are great! Thinking adding any maker’s mark soon?

Yeah. I would have already gotten one. But the stencils are a bit expensive. And i just now dropped basically $1800 on getting my own rockwell tester so i dont have to get my stuff tested by other makers anymore.

Maybe i can finally get the stencils made now that i got this purchase knocked out

I completely forgot to mention this!

And this applies to all the high wear resistance kitchen knives I make and sell.

The first thinning I am willing to do for free if people aren't willing or able to thin the knives themselves.

I just need the customer to cover shipping. After the first thinning. We can work something out if it needs another one way down the line.

Uploaded a couple videos of the knife in action.

Did a carrot. Then an onion to show how effortlessly it glides through. I stumbled at the end when i saw I dropped some onion on my carpet lol.

Sold. But still not to a member here 🙁 as far as i know at least.
