Happy Friday Everyone,

Finally! After being inundated with some variety of flu last week I finally managed to get something finished. It's my smallest gyuto to date with only a 190mm edge, I had intended it to be a 240mm, but notwithstanding. On a completely unrelated note, I can't say that I recommend the peen straightening method for hardened MagnaCut...ahem....Now that I'm back on my feet I can get on with finishing up the remainder, up next comes a RH 290mm.
  • Blade: 190mmx50mm CPM MagnaCut (63-64 HRC) 320 grit hand finish
  • Neck: 20mmx15mm
  • Handle: 120mmx 23.2mmx22.1mm tapering to 21.6mmx18.8mm, burned oak, oiled and waxed
  • POB: 40mm
  • Spine: 2.68mm at the neck, 1.8mm at 10.5cm, .78mm 1cm from the tip
  • Grind: flat to convex, left hand bias
  • Weight: 128 grams
  • Relieved choil and spine
  • Edge: .1-zero at half way
Asking $360 U.S shipped+ insured w/signature reqd.
