Amboyna Handle
The Tetsujin series in made in collaboration by blacksmith Toru Tamura and sharpener Naohito Myojin. Hand forged from blue 2 steel and cladded in soft iron. The blade is ground thin and lightly convexed.
I’m the second owner, I received it very lightly used and likely unsharpened. I have used it several times and touched up the edge twice on a high grit stone. I cleaned it up with flitz twice. The cladding is very reactive and readily turns rainbow colors after flitz. It has some tiny scratches at the neck near the handle but they are invisible when it has patina.
