haha, it was actually a serious question. Um let me try to rephrase... is it "curly walnut" or walnut with physically carved grooves in it?

I know for sure atleast one vendor has described it as hand carved walnut handle. I cannot attest to which exact process is used. There are indentions or grooves or “ribbing”

It has the spine polishing and shaping just like what I’ve seen from Morihiro, the triple sided spine thing. He definitely did alot work with Kagekiyo.
I have no idea who the sharpener is but they did a great job.
